Built on a green hill of olive trees, amphitheatrically on a plot of about 1000 sqm in the eastern part of the island of Thassos. It is 400 meter from the sea. Island's main town, Thasos, with the port offering connection with Keramoti and Kavala Town, is approximately 21 km away. Although Thassos does not have its own airport, there are two International airports nearby on the mainland. International Airport “Megalos Alexandros” (KVA) is the nearest (and smallest) airport, allowing for a short and quick route to Thassos island. There are few direct flights operating there, but it is only 15 minute drive from the ferry port in Keramoti. Thessaloniki International Airport “Macedonia” (SKG) is further (and larger) airport, and is 2 hour drive to the ferry port in Kavala and 2 hours 30 minutes to the ferry port in Keramoti. Thessaloniki airport is connected to the ferry ports by an excellent road and a highway network, making the journey to Kavala or Keramoti easy
